    I started Europe on My Plate because I’ve always believed that food is the heart of every culture. Every time I traveled through Europe, I felt like the meals told me more about the place than any guidebook ever could. A bowl of seafood stew on the Portuguese coast. A slice of warm apple cake in a tiny German café. A rustic pasta dish enjoyed at a wooden table in the Italian countryside. Each one stayed with me long after I returned home.

    I wanted to bring that feeling into my own kitchen and share it with others. That is how this little corner of the internet was born.
